Comment flinguer un Baby Cook

Ca y est.
Après les nuits de trois heures, les 10 changes et biberons par jour, on pensait être tirés d'affaire. Les bébés vont avoir 6 mois, c'est bientôt l'avènement de l'autonomie non ?
Et bien non, faut croire que ça empire avec l'âge.

Car au lieu de donner deux bibs en même temps en matant BFM TV, je dois passer aux purées. C'est à dire les préparer, c'est mieux quand même avec de vrais légumes. Puis les donner à chacun. Avoir du coup un sol et des fringues recouverts de coulures oranges et vertes. Enfin compléter avec un biberon.
Non, ce n'est pas une impression, c'est beaucoup plus long et salissant qu'avant cette histoire.

Mais comme j'anticipe tout et que mon cerveau est digne de celui de Terminator (dernière version), j'ai commandé un Baby-Cook au père Noël. Qui a daigné malgré ma série de billets pas toujours sympas sur sa personne m'en déposer un dans mes chaussons (mes délires sur le sujet ICI).

Donc toute contente, je décide hier soir de me lancer dans ma première purée de carottes.
Toute fière d'être une aussi bonne mère, j'épluche mes carottes trop bios du marché, même que je les rince.
Je sors la machine magique de sa boîte.
Je balance la notice. Pas besoin, ça a l'air fastoche. Mon cerveau Terminator a déjà compris rien qu'en assemblant les bidules entre eux comment ça marchait.
Bouton de gauche, ça cuit à la vapeur. Bouton de droite, ça mixe. Chapeau à l'inventeur, j'ai plus rien à foutre, manque plus que le robot qui épluche, et celui qui donne aux enfants à la cuillère, et je suis peinarde devant mon ordi.
Touloutoutou ! Je dispose mes carottes dans le pot en plastique. Je mets de l'eau au fond, ça tombe sous les carottes sur les lames du mixer (il y a un petit espace). Bizarre mais bon, c'est le principe du cuit vapeur, l'eau en dessous.
Je lance le truc. Au bout d'un quart d'heure, ça chauffe bien un peu mais ça cuit pas les carottes.
Putain quelle merde ce robot ! C'est pas au point leur truc, autant les faire cuire à l'eau ça ira plus vite hein !
Je m'énerve un peu sur le bidule. J'ouvre, je referme, je rappuie sur le bouton, je donne même un petit coup dedans, ça marche souvent cette technique (sur les vieilles télés c'est imparable).

MisterNec arrive.
Moi outrée : "Non mais regarde-moi ce truc qui fonctionne pas, une demi-heure que ça chauffe et ça cuit pas les carottes !"
Lui, rationnel : "T'as lu la notice ?"
Moi, de mauvaise foi : "Euh, un peu, mais bon c'est pas compliqué !"
Il ramasse le livret à côté de la poubelle et jette un coup d'oeil.
"T'as vu qu'il y a un gros cylindre qui s'ouvre Ă  gauche ?".
Moi : "oui il est chaud. Ca sert Ă  quoi ?".
"C'est là-dedans qu'il faut mettre l'eau. Si t'en mets pas, ça chauffe dans le vide et ça peut abimer le robot. Ca permet de cuire les légumes à la vapeur".
Il met de l'eau au bon endroit, relance et en quelques minutes les carottes sont cuites.

Ah ok, c'était facile c'est juste que j'ai manqué de temps pour regarder la notice.
Allez, c'est prêt, je reprends les commandes. Alors sans remettre le bouton sur 0, je tente de soulever le couvercle et aïe ! Put..je me brûle au 4ème degrés dur le doigt, cloque blanche et trempage dans un bol d'eau glacée pour finir. Non mais c'est dangereux ce truc !!!

Quoi amis lecteurs, vous insinuez dans votre petite tête que je veux aller trop vite et que c'est moi qui suis pas douée ? Vous avez pas tort. C'est justement pour les gens comme moi que j'écris ce billet informatif.

D'ailleurs, je me souviens maintenant que Terminator, c'est pas lui qui a le meilleur cerveau et les meilleurs pouvoirs dans le film.

Conclusion : même si ça prend du temps et que vous avez la flemme, lisez les notices, ne vous précipitez pas, et attention à vos doigts.

La prochaine fois je demande Ă  ma fille de m'aider, au lieu de rien glander Ă  mater Peter Pan :



Petit aparté et point culture : Les carottes sont cuites, ça m'a fait marrer d'écrire ça, ça vous parle certainement non ?
"Les carottes sont cuites", je répète "les carottes sont cuites", a fait partie des phrases, nombreuses, qui ont servi de code à la radio de Londres pour déclencher des actions ou opérations dans les territoires occupés par l'Allemagne pendant la seconde guerre mondiale.
De plus, à l'origine, c'est une expression française qui signifie qu'il n'y a plus d'espoir, comme quoi... :-)

Je ne lis jamais les notices et je me fais toujours engueuler à cause de ça, parce que soi-disant, je veux aller trop vite! Mais je suis comme ça moi! Les choses doivent se faire à l'instinct, sinon, ça m'ennuie... Pfff!
Ceci dit, le baby cook, c'est une invention, qu'elle est géniale!

je ne lis jamais les notices... c'est drĂ´le !
POur la bouffedes Twins pas de panique, moins on s'en fait moins on se crée d'obligation : 1 bol de purée pour 2, 1 cuillère pour deux et hop quand l'un avale sa purée l'autre a la cuillère dans la bouche Alors evidemment je ne suis pas une stressée des microbes... de toute façon entre jumeaux quoi qu'on fasse ils choppent ce que l'autre a ..... et surtout très vite au desser autonomie oblig LA pompot qu'ils dégustent seuls comme des grands vers 8/9 mois !!!!! j'en ai bien d'autres encore.....

Oui j'arrive enfin Ă  le faire marcher et c'est vrai que c'est pratique.
Sauf que j'ai essayé le petit pot à midi et que les sacripants le préfèrent à mes vrais légumes ! Question de consistance et ils doivent rajouter du sucre/sel pour créer l'addiction..
Oui Prune tu as bien raison, un bol pour deux, mais chacun sa cuillère, enfin j'essaie !

Oh la la!!
Le Babycook a été mon meilleur ami pendant longtemps!!

Capuchou n'a eu que des purées maison et il n'a jamais aimé les petits pots!
Pense a mettre une noisette de beurre dans tes purées, ca parait evident dit comme ca mais beaucoup de maman ne le font pas!
Bordel mais c'est deg une purée sans beurre!!!

allez courage!
et il faut tojours lire les notices... y a des gens dont c'est le metier de les ecrire!!!

Oui c'est vrai, avec du beurre c'est meilleur !
Le problème est que la taille des notices est souvent décourageante, et leurs schémas aussi.
Mais c'est con de passer à côté de supers fonctions par désir d'aller trop vite !

Les parents de la Merveille, mon fils et ma belle fille ont donné des petits pots à leur fille, elle a découvert la gourmandise après une semaine chez nous, c'est mon homme qui fait la cuisine. Elle refuse les petits pots maintenant....
